Angry

Is anyone else in the DFW area having a problem getting their modem to connect? I'm using YadaYada and it will not connect at all. Worked fine on Thursday. Yesterday it quit.
Called support and the guy said I was the third person to call from Texas that was having problems. Are there any OmniSky users having the same problem in the DFW area?

Thanks,
Rick

I was told by YadaYada rep that all cdpd service was down for YY until hopefully today... (I assume *their* main servers are down)

Which sucks, cause I just got the modem yesterday and haven't put it through its paces

I was told that the guy didn't know what the problem was, but if it wasn't working by today to call YadaYada back. Hopefully it will come back up today.

Lightbulb

Make me #4 who called and didn't identify where he was from.

The very knowledgeable rep I talked to for a bit late last night told me that the Sprint nationwide CDPD network was down and was working to correct the issue as soon as possible. He said that he had no clue when it would be completed as they were waiting to talk to sprint, but said that many states were effected.

Hope that helps.
(And here I wanted to test the Palm Web Server!

CDPD system down this weekend

I also have YadaYada, and my Prism/Minstrels also was not working. I called YY and the guy told me that the CDPD system had been down for the last two days. He said to wait till 5pm EST today and sure enough the system came back up around 6pm Dallas time. Now it works great.

Not only is it working, but it seems faster than it was.
