Visor Phone Deal GREAT!!

Hurray for Handspring
- ordered my new Visorphone at the $49 price as soon as I saw it Monday morning. It arrived (N Cal) on Thursday noon.
- Meanwhile I had gotten an e-mail from Handspring re older Visor Deluxes. Seems the microphone is bad. They gave me some serial number info to check. Mine was one of the "poor mic" units. Handspring told me to call in, confirmed Serial Number, shipped me a brand new Deluxe replacement. Arrived Fri am! (I've got to return my old one, of course).
- Interestingly, when I tried the phone with my original VDX, my wife said I sounded as if I were in a long tunnel w. echos. Very poor voice quality. The new VDX totaly fixed that problem: now decent, useable voice quality.
- SIM card didn't get activated till until Thursday pm - they're shipping so fast apparently they can't complete a setup. I didn't care. Two 800 calls to Cingular and I was up & running.

If you've been waiting, don't wait any longer.
