-- Quarters ? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=5168)
Does anyone have any idea when quarter 1 & 2 of 2000 are ? I would like to have some idea of when they are acually going to release the most of these spring board modules.
Quarter = 1/4
12 Months in a Year.
12/4 = 3
3 Months to a quarter
Q1=Jan to Mar
Q2=Apr to Jun
Q3=Jul to Sep
Q4=??? extra credit
Perhaps there should be a HUMOR forum. This belongs there.
Remember, there are no stupid questions, just stupid people (Mr. Garrison).
But the original question was not stupid at all. A companies fiscal year does not necessarily coincide with the calendar year. The last company I worked for had a fiscal calendar that started in July which meant that Q1 was also in July.
But I think it's a pretty safe bet that most press releases and product availability announcments use the standard calendar year.
I think we should all lighten up a little on Bane. The last thing we want to do is inhibit members from asking questions for fear of getting ridiculed.
