Newbie need help

I load the desk top It tells me there is an error someithing to do with MS excell i finish loading the program try to hot sync and nothing happens the visor sayes unable to conect

any help will be great

probably would be more of a help if you uninstalled the program and reinstalled and if you got the same error write it down and include that. Im not sure what partof the desktop uses excell.

Do you have Excel on your computer? The installer might be giving you an error because there is a module in the Palm Desktop that syncs the data entered in your expense app on the Visor and creates an expense report utilizing Excel. Just a guess...It would help to know the error message you are getting.

I agree with "markleetoo". Sounds like the error message that is generated when a PC does not have MSExcel installed.

As for being unable to HotSync, sounds like you might need to do a soft reset of your Visor and try again.

Would be nice to know what Visor you are using, what Operating System you are using and what connection method you are using (Serial/USB).

Once you give us some details, I am sure someone will be able to assist you.
