Nokia 8210 / VDX for email in Europe

Hi everybody,
I read the "Nokia 7160 / visor deluxe" thread and understood that
the Nokia 8290 works great with the VDX. I think the 8290 is the
US version of the 8210 that we've got in Europe (at least in Sweden).
So my question is; will the VDX work just as well with european GSM
standard and the Nokia 8210? (I would use it to collect POP mail etc).
Hope someone can help me!

It works definately in Europe (i.e. i live in Germany) and with MultiMailPro 3.1 you can access up to eight POP-accounts.

Can you tell me which ISP you use? Talknet isn't workig for me!
