VDx and Troubleshooting forums, what's up?
You know, lately the VDx forum and the troubleshooting forum have been dying. Every question is about either hotsyncing, Palm OS 3.5, scratches, the backlight, or the mic. It IS important to have these forums because these question should be answered BUT. . . WHY WOULD ANY NON-NEWCOMER WANT TO VISIT??? Unless you're the extremely helpful type, like MarkEagle, who I notice keeps answering the same rookie questions over and over (how much patience do you have?), it can be very tedious to keep visiting. And if the vets who know all the answers stop visiting, and the newcomers' questions get ignored because no one sees them, then what's the point??? Share some input, please.

As for patience, my wife and kids claim I have none (and they're probably right).

I Agree With You, But I Like It
As a former visitor to hotsync hell, I'm glad there are those who are patient enough to help with those problems.
I agree with ernieba1 that there's less I feel compelled to read, but I think that's a result of how long VC has been around and therefore how many useful threads can now be found in the discussion archives.
One of the main reasons I frequent this site is the absence (for the most part) of condescension and flaming. I have perceived a slight movement toward these more negative attitudes of late, but again believe that's a natural symptom of VC's "maturing".

Erniebal,
Sorry to be so tedious and repetitive but I was under the assumption that the forums were for ANYONE with any amount of experience and knowledge .Perhaps you could ask VC to add a rookie section and you could bypass it completely, that way we wouldn't bother you at all.I for one really appreciate all the help and patience I have recieved from the members.
