Visor Platinum--Timeport 8767
Has anyone made the above combo function with respect to Sprint PCS/QNC connection?
I have been over and over and over my settings, I have purchased a null-modem and plain M-to-M connectors, I have even broken out the multi-meter to see what does what. I wanted to 'see if I like it' before sending off for a cable from www.gomadic.com, and broke out the serial cradle and data-connectivity kit. No luck whatsoever-I'm just about to throw it out the window.
I understand that every handset and visor combination is different with respect to voltage outputs and cable requirements, so if anyone can tell me what they've gotten to work, I'd really appreciate it.
Should I just bite the bullet and spring for a cable, or will I have the same problems with that set-up as I am now?
I appreciate everyone's help.

quote:The TimePort 8767 is essentially the same as the StarTAC, at least at the connector. Any Visor to StarTAC cable should work for you.
