Xircom's Ethernet module Questions and Security?

1. Can Palm VNC be configured to be use with Xircom's Ethernet module? Say you're sitting downstairs in the living room and want to lower the volume on your CD player on your PC upstairs: Can I use PalmVNC and Xircom's module to connect wirelessly to my desktop on a 802.11 network.

2. What about security on a wireless network? There are hacker Programs available like NET STUMBLER (http://www.personaltelco.net/index.cgi/NetStumbler) That lets someone driving around in a car equipped with wireless gear and this program to gain access to unsecured wireless networks. What's the best way to secure a wireless network?

1. there is no problem to use the module with palm vnc. it�s very nice.

2. at the moment the standard is WEP encryption (40- etc. up to 128 bit encryption)

I use it too. Works well. Color makes all the difference though. Couldn't take it on my old deluxe. Also changing to a custom connection to bump the speed up to 230kbps improved the screen updates.
