YadaYada replacement option (Vorizon)
Goodby YadaYada....
...hello Verizon Wireless Mobile IP services!
http://www.verizonwireless.com/mobile_ip/index.html
For more information on Mobile IP data services, e-mail [email protected] or call Toll-Free 800-308-DATA.
The email address bounced my inquiry but the phone number works.
$24.95 per mo. $100 early disconnect, $.08 per killobyte roaming can be enabled as an option.
I've got my finger on the button so please let me know if you have a better deal.
Aside from OS and GoAmerica who offer better coverage with no roaming fees (for a higher price of course), AT&T offers service as well (not sure about the price though, its either $25 or $30/month). You'll pay for roaming with AT&T though like Verizon. I would see who has the most coverage in your area between Verizon and AT&T and go with that provider. Each company has their own specific areas where one offers coverage and the other doesn't. If you travel a lot, go with OS or GoAmerica.
YadaYada Alternative
Check this out, Zero Gravity offers YadaYada subscribers a free trial of their wireless services. Same browser technology, great mail and document managment applications. Pick Verizon or AT&T as your network provider, and then choose Zero Gravity for your applications and support.

YadaYada Alternative
Yes, it may be familiar to YadaYada users as Zero Gravity licenses the same Pumatech transcoding browser. By the way, it is version 2.0 (supports color).
What's the benefit of using Zero Gravity software?
If I can use other software like Eudora with my CDPD service provider (AT&T), what's the benefit of using Zero Gravity's service?
:)
ditto

Zero Gravity Benefit
There are a number of things to consider when selecting an application. Primarily, this would be cost vs. benefit. We provide a number of services (Mail and Browser) that help users become more productive. Our browser, which supports color, graphics, frames, etc. is leading edge. Our mail services are optimized to support almost any client and include an extensive desktop interface. We also have a document management interface that allows users to view and edit common file formats on a Palm, PocketPC or RIM device. These are all included in our monthly fee of $5.95.
We know this is not for everyone, only if you see value in the extras that come along with paying for a service and getting the support you expect from a service provider.
I would invite you to visit our website for more details about our company and applications. www.zerogravitywireless.com
Free Trial
I forgot to mention that you can try our service for 30-days risk free and see for yourself.
