getting eudroa to work with @home dialup server

trying to get the standard 33K visor modem to work with comcast@home's
dial up service (for use on the road) i use cable modem at home. i get
to the screen where eudora is trying to log into the pop3 server and
keep getting "pop 3 server not responding" errors.
the connection to comcast is ok i believe as i can surf the web with
the eudora browser
. any thoughts ? thanx.
