-- My VisorCentral Icon (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=4461)
As a Windows/IE user, I've learned to appreciate the icons that you can associate with Internet Shortcuts. Accordingly, I made my very own VisorCentral icon. You can see it (and download it for your own purposes) here:

Isn't there a way that they can make it automatically show up? I think they need to have it in the root directory and named something like "home.ico". Anyone know?

I'm not sure but I think I remember it was favicon.ico.
Yeah, there is a way to make it show up as he icon when someone visits a site, but the webmaster must put it in the website's root with a special filename which eludes me at the moment.
However, as a user, you arenot out of luck. With IE, go to Favorites->Organize Your Favorites. Find your favorite for VisorCentral. Right-click on it and view it's properties. In there, there is a "Change Icon" button which you can use to select the Visor Central icon.
This method will also work for any place you happen to have an "Internet Shortcut" lying around. I use it for my quick lanch bar where I store shortcuts to my favorite sites.

I have the VC icon in my shortcuts and my browser address field since Marcus or James put the file ("home.ico", I think) up a couple of months ago.
You just have to access VC from the main page.

Won't view through Netscape, though.
Not to be cocky, but I think my icon is better than the one that is already there. Am I blinded by bias?
