Cases for Handspring Deluxe + Digital Link

I was extremely disappointed with Handspring's Visorphone case that I just bought to accompany my free Digital Link. Active Armor's solution also doesn't work. What do folks out there with Digital Link (all 10 of us) use?

case

I have been looking for a case too but the slip case that came with my Visor Deluxe works really well actually.I just cut out an area in the back to accomodate the battry of the DL . Also I drilled some holes in the case where the microphone is on the Visor and I can answer the phone and talk on it without removing it from the case. When you make the cutout on the back of the case you need to put some tape or something on it because this case is made of layers of material and they begin to seperate when you cut them.hope this helps...

ActiveArmor does work, sort of

I wrote to Active Armor and it turns out their case sort-of works; it doesn't work as well as for the Visor Phone, but then Handspring's own case for it doesn't work as well as for the Visor Phone either. For $29.99, I felt it was worth it.

Padmewan,

Did you ever get that active armor? What were the results?

I kinda like the Handspring leather belt-case-thingy, more or less... Otherwise the standard slipcase does work, it stretches to fit mostly.

ActiveArmor works OK

ActiveArmor had great customer service, and they have photos available of how well their product works with the Digital Link. Basically, it fits but bulges out on top. I did a little bit of delicate work with an X-Acto to make it fit better, but it's fundamentally not designed for the Digital Link. Still, I'm extremely impressed with the product - highly recommend it for those with other SpringBoard products. And for those with Digital Links, it's the only product I've seen that will allow you access to your screen without taking it out of the case.

I recommend it.

I too got an Active Armor case. With a bit of trimming on the top, it will fit.
The results are not elegant, but it does provide lots of protection.

And the front flap prevents cheek prints on the screen.

Winchell, you and I are probably the ONLY DL owners in Baltimore
