Annoying Refresh

It may just be me, but I find the auto page refresh on all VC pages to be annoying at times. I'll be doing two or three things at once, including reading a long article or working my way down through one of the discussions, and all of a sudden the page refreshes. Is there really a need for that? Not a real big deal, but kind of a pain at times.

I agree!!! I get about halfway through a long article or review and suddenly I am back at the top of the page. I have to scroll back down and pick up where I left off. If it is necessary, maybe make the times between refreshes a little longer (double the current period).

How funny. I've never really felt the need to gripe about Visorcentral before, and I've never been in the forum about Visorcentral before. Imagine how surprised I was to find that the only thing people are griping about is the very thing I came in to gripe about. It's the worst when I follow a link off the site only to be interrupted halfway through the article I went to read. Same thing with the Visor Adventure stuff. Longish articles surprise me by refreshing so that I must find my place again. The main page also seems to jump in and block what I'm doing when I do something like read a new e mail. I've learned to be ready on the [alt]+[tab] keys. This is annoying.

Not that I will stop visiting. I'm here daily. This is my handheld news fix.
