I am thinking about purchasing the VisorPhone, and was looking at the included plans. In my area only Voicestream is available, and i was wondering if i can do wireless web without the extra web package. I have been reading a couple other forums, and i have heard that some can and some can't.

Any info?

Need Data Services

I suspect that you are goign to need data services enabled to access the web using the phone.

I can get wireless internet access without paying for datastream here in NY. Just deducts from my voice minutes.

Just orderd a visorphone with the basic plan from the handspring website. When it arrives I will update it to the "Talk and Text" plan to give MORE SMS messages (500) for short e-Mails (pushed to me) and 100 minutes of voice for $24.99 per month total. The wireless surfing still looks spendy.
