Vp Volume

ok this may be a stupid question.....How do I turn the VP volume down , not the ringer, the actual volume. this thing is painfully loud and i can literally talk with it a foot away from my head and hear whoever is on the other end perfectly.

Can I change the volume? or am I bound to go deaf as an added bonus to microwaving my head from this phone??.

Please help.....and try to speak up
