I recently dumped Yada some time ago after having many connection problems with them and finding out how under-staffed they are. But I still visit their web site occasionally to see what they are up to. Did they stop taking orders in New York City? I notice if you type in a NYC zip code in their (Check to see if you are within Yada Yada�s service area) section, you get (Sorry, we cannot process your order at this time). I�ve tried zip codes from all five boros and some from New Jersey and have gotten the same results. Have they blacked out NYC? Anyone know if they�re still in business? Just curious.

No problems in Texas, other than a couple of times where I had to have Eric reset the IP address. The new Blazer also seems to work well, even with high graphics set. I just wish we could get a reliably strong connection anywhere we go. It's usually good around the city limits. I don't really think the cost is worthy, but it is great to surf in the *parked* car.

My Yada is working great here in NY. They may not be taking new orders, but existing clients should be working with no problems whatsoever.

After a month of attempts to get through to an actual staffer (not the answering service) to give them my new credit card number, I just gave up. Not long after, my service was disconnected - no surprise. Just last week, I got a phone call from someone there at YY telling me my old credit card number was invalid. That was a surprise. I had thought they were long gone, since they never answered the phone.

I'm extremely hesitant to give them the new one, though. With that kind of track record of customer service, they haven't exactly won my confidence. Now I've got a Minstrel that I don't know what to do with.
