What can you do with an old minstrel s modem? Can you sign up to minstrel s ISP without buying the modem from them?

My Visor phone doesn't have the phone linster in the Phone Info screen. It stilll works, but HS says I should call Voice stream to get it added. But, Voicestream doesn't seem to know how to fix it. Should I care?

Happy Treo 600 user, so far. Thanx Cingular for having an unlocked phone.

My Treo 600 is my phone, my PDA, my watch, and my MP3 player. Oh yeah, I take a picture once in a while with it. Convergence is such a great thing.

The Minstrel has a set up guide in the Minstrel program for setting up new accounts with a telecom company such as Verizon. The only problem is that you might have roaming issues that you wouldn't have if you we're on Omnisky (is it Earthlink now? i've been outta the loop)
