Visor Phone Advice Needed
Hi,
I'm considering getting Visor Phone for my Edge. But I have the following questions:
How does the phone look on a Edge?
Can anyone post pictures?
How is the usability/performance?
As easy as a regular cell phone?
Does the headset provide good quality/performance?
How is the reception quality with Cingular service in San Francisco Area?
Any other thoughts/comments?
Thanks in advance for any input,
Ali
I have asked many of the same questions here.

Hey Ali, I was just wondering, are you Iranian?
Yes, I am.
Also a Bay Area New User
You can see my 2 previous posts for info. I'm located in the East Bay in Contra Costa & Solano counties.
Generally: voice reception is good. coverage has been fine anywhere I've gone. But people hear you sort of as if you're in a tunnel or a barrel - clearly with a deep sort of echo. Adequate for my use since I combined 2 devices into 1.
Data Service is so far a real drag.
-- no connection w/o adding data services from Cingular ($4.95/mo + .15 per minute)
-- since I only added Data Access on Tue morning, I'm still trying unsuccessfully to get to the web.
Interesting conumdrum:
- Cingular knows almost nothing about the VisorPhone; and,
- Visor Tech Support knows nothing about Cingular.
So trying to get a sensible answer from either is not easy. you get a piece of an answer here, another piece there - and if you are patient and knowledgable - you may get there eventually.
I'm still trying - and will report successes & failures on the other Topic.
It's worth the $49.95 to me!
Thanks, I appreciate your input. Just spoke with HS and they said that I have 30 days to make a determination, on the phone. Also, since Cingular is the service provider in the bay area, they also offer a 30 day service satisfaction guarantee.
I'm going to go for it!
