blazer over VS gprs

I am trying to get the Palm OS Blazer 2.0 to work with WAP sites over VoiceStream/T-Mobile GPRS connection. I have the Palm establishing the GPRS via IrDA and this seems to be OK. However, when I try to load a page the Blazer status line gives me the following: Connecting... Negotiating... Connecting... Negotiating... then nothing?! No error, no page just nothing. All sites that I have tried behave the same. My Internet connection is OK because the AvantGo browser does load pages and so does the WAPMan browser. I have tried with and without the VoiceStream/T-Mobile proxy with similar results. Also, I can't find a place to enter the IP of the WAP Gateway. Where do I put that? I have read posts that say that maybe VS blocks the Blazer from getting to the Blazer gateway/proxy service that it needs to work.
