Card Access Thinmodem on Sale

If anyone is interested in purchasing a low cost modem (even though it's NOT wireless!), check with CompUSA. My local store (in Warwick, RI) has the Thinmodem on sale for $49.88 and Card Access is offering a $30 rebate on all purchases made between 7/15/01 and 1/1/02, bringing your cost down to $19.88. The rebate form is a PDF file that can be downloaded from the Card Access website at www.cardaccess-inc.com/thinmodem.html

I bought the modem on Saturday and I'm very happy with it. Be sure to download the Thinmodem Updater which includes:
- V.90/56K Support
- Browse-it 2.0 (16-bit color)
- One-Touch version 2 by JP Systems (full-feature)
- File Mover v1.4 (corrects potential corruption on OS3.5 units during compaction)
- Disconnect Button in Modem Status Screen.
- "Network Disconnect in Progress" Alert

I'm very happy with the modem, especially at this price.
