I had a post and it got somehow removed!

To any visorcentral staff:

I'm posting this here because I searched the entire website and couldn't find anything from the 'email us here if you have any problems with the site' type of thing.

I posted a thread in the general discussions board yesterday afternoon regarding datebook+ and how the text of an alarm message disappears if I don't acknowledge the alarm after the visor times out and turns off.

There were at least 20+ members who viewed the thread... then I replied to my own thread with another comment. I come in to work this morning hoping to find somebody's seen what I've seen or has a clue, and the thread is just gone!

This sorta disturbs me.... can somebody shed some light on this?

As homer pointed out, the thread is still open and active. It was, however, moved (by me) to the How-To/Troubleshooting forum.

I've also noticed this on the rare occaision when I want to ask somebody a techie question - there's no 'contact us' link anywhere on the site that I've been able to find! Just the submission/advertising info links at http://www.visorcentral.com/page/0-13-0-13.htm

It's easy enough to do a message search for one of the VC staff fellas and then send them a message from the boards, but it seems like there ought to be a convenient link for tech support questions. Just my humble $0.02

The trouble with having a link would be that there are several of us on staff... who would the link point to? The VisorCentral.com forum is where tech support question should go. We all check in quite often and many questions can be answered by other members as well.

To be honest, I personally don't receive many emails or PM's from members needing help with the site, etc. Is it because there's no "easy" link to me or that my services really aren't needed all that often?

I thought issues about the site were supposed to go to Marcus?

Bingo! but you can send it to anyone.. we'll forward it to the right person....

The mods only have limited power... (oops now I gave away our little secret )
Marcus and James are the big shots that can do major changes...

That explains why I couldn't find it. No biggie having the post moved to a more appropriate category (there are so many... ) Of course I wish that somebody would have a helpful comment on it.

One thought though... if a posts gets moved by somebody, it'd be helpful if an email notification would be sent out... like I get everytime somebody replies to a thread I created (per the preference I turned on).
