I am considering upgrading my Visor Deluxe to a Prism and am also looking at Wireless options. I currently have a VoiceStream phone which I was going to upgrade.

My question is should I go with the VisorPhone or go with one of the services that uses the Minstrel modem.

On the one hand, it would be nice to only carry one device but then I have to have an ISP and will all my applications work on the ISP like my PQA's?

On the other hand I could just get a cute little 8290 and get the Omnisky service.

Any ideas / suggestion would be very helpful.

Thanks for the direction. The post is very informational although I am still a little confused as to what direction to go in.
