I'm new to bulletin boards (my first time registering and posting) so don't have much to compare to, but here is my input.
First, I am considering buying a Visor, which is why I'm here - I want to learn a few things first. I actually really like the site because it is much easier to read the "threads" (I guess I'm picking up on the lingo) than a Handspring Yahoo Club site I also found. I have really learned a lot and I thank you -- staff and members. My suggestion would be to provide a guideline/suggestion for members when picking a subject title. You already break it down into general categories, but within the categories, they are often unhelpful. I have literally spent hours on here reading, but I have to use my curiousity to investigate what each one will be about, which takes an inordinate amount of time. Something like "Kinda Odd, maybe just me" or "weird things..." isn't very helpful. Maybe some other categories like "Screen", "Cases", Sub categories under software like "Financial", "Email", "Database", "Games", "Utilities". Anyway, just a thought. Maybe have the member select from a dropdown menu to categorize when starting a new topic. Just trying to save everyone time, as my wife is not too happy that I've been on here for many hours now trying to find what might be relevant for our needs.
