Sure Wave Browser & PQA's

I'm using (and loving) the Sprint PCS Digital link with my Platinum. I thought I could utilize the Sure Wave Browser for PQA web clipping applications. However, even the browser connects to the network, I get a timeout error after about 3 plus minutes.

Has anyone been able to successfully use PQA's with the Sprint PCS Digital Link or the Visor Phone? And if so, what tricks can you share...

Thanks,

I used SureWave with the Digital Link with hit-or-miss success. Sometimes various PQA's would work, other times they would time-out as you describe. I'm never did figure out what the problem was... eventually, I removed SureWave and the PQA's.

Thanks for the follow up

I appreciate the feedback. I'm hoping to resolve the problem some how. I have a credit card processing PQA that I would like to have up and running and also like some of the other PQA's that are available like the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

Arrow See this site

See this site for instructions on how to setup PQAs (without the SureWave Browser on Palm OS 3.3 and above): http://www.geocities.com/daveinfopa...ebclipping.html. You need to search www.google.com for the web clipping library files.

Dead link

Thanks for the info, yardie. I will do the suggested search, but the geocities link was a dead one. If you know the new one, I would appreciate it.

Nope... just improperly formatted.

I fixed it; should work now. If not, try this.

Great information

Thanks for updating the link. I was able to find an older cached version via Google, but this link has some good updates for Sprint. I will peruse it and then try the PQA's again.
