why would aim work with the xircom and not with the thinmodem?
i dont' know but like all the conditions were the same, i dialed in to the same ISP, same #, same login, and with the thinmodem it would connect, and i would check on the connection status(pressin' lower righ hand corner) and if i don't do a thing it would be remained connected. the moment i log in to AIM. i would get my buddy's list pulled up and then boom. nuttin'. i'm remained connected, but the connection speed is 0! and this happened all the time. i was like wtf...mad beef with this part. so there's absolutely no point in keepin' a part that doesn't work, even though if it's free. so i picked up the xircom, no beef @ all.......
